Bush, Kerry make a pit stop in Topeka

President George W. Bush and Sen. John Kerry visited Topeka, Kansas, yesterday to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Brown v. Board of Education ruling. While both men delivered similar messages -- each hailed the Brown decision, but also said the nation had more work to do -- Kerry seemed slightly more cynical about how far U.S. schools had progressed since 1954.
