Online pharmacies continue to carve out niche

Although online pharmacy purchases still represent a small portion of the total market, drugstore chains are changing their strategy to pick up market share. Drugstore.com has found its niche by offering more front-end products, such as health and beauty aids, than do typical drugstores, while Walgreens and CVS have boosted their online photo processing offerings to attract Web customers.
