Study: Worldwide mobile phone sales to jump 23% in 2006

Worldwide sales of mobile phones, which are expected to increase by 23% this year, may reach $250 billion by 2011, according to a study by In-Stat. "Big trends over the next five years include adoption of wireless phones as a mobile wallet, and that more users will carry multiple devices," an In-Stat analyst said.
