Executive who helped remake GM's marketing leaving automaker

Mike Jackson, General Motors' top North American ad executive, who helped usher the automaker's marketing program into the Web 2.0 era, is leaving after one year on the job. Jackson will depart the automaker June 15 "to pursue other opportunities," according to a brief statement released by GM.
