Utah sues Lilly for pressing off-label Zyprexa prescriptions

The state of Utah filed a lawsuit alleging Eli Lilly pressed off-label prescriptions of its Zyprexa bipolar disorder and schizophrenia drug for uses such as anorexia. The lawsuit says prescriptions for anorexia, Alzheimer's disease, Tourette's syndrome and other off-label uses cost the Medicaid program, and Utah wants to recover those costs.
