With occupancy low, resorts open facilities to nonguests

With the economy causing a bit of a shortage of true paying guests, some high-end resorts in Miami and elsewhere are opening their pool and fitness facilities to locals to help make places at least look like they might have back in the busy days. The visit comes at a price, however, with day passes at the Four Seasons Brickell in Miami, for instance, going for $25 per person and cabana packages for $150.
