Amazon's hiring binge hints at new Kindle release

Amazon's Lab 126, the division responsible for creating the Kindle, has posted dozens of job openings in recent days, New York Times Bits blogger Nick Bilton reports. Bilton speculates that the mass hirings mean Amazon is gearing up to release a new version of the Kindle aimed at competing head-to-head with Apple's iPad.
