Column: Railroad traffic points to economic recovery

Tracking railroad traffic can be a good barometer for the economy, according to columnist Stephen Simpson. Freight rail carloads increased 16% in April, and more railroads are taking cars are out of storage. Simpson writes that "there does seem to be a compelling case for further success in the railroad sector as traffic appears to be increasing with some momentum."
