Field in Highland Park, Ill., to get artificial turf

The District 113 School Board in Highland Park, Ill., is partnering with the Highland Park Giants Club to fund the installation of artificial turf at a local park for $954,236. The groups expect long-term savings over the costs incurred in caring for a grass field. The installation will begin this summer.
