Former Olympic Village is converted to green neighborhood

The former 2010 Winter Olympics village in Vancouver, British Columbia, has been converted to green apartments. The high-rise buildings draw heat from untreated wastewater, the first system of its kind in North America. "It's going to become a neighborhood like any other, just a lot greener than most," said Kieran McConnell, a systems engineer for Neighborhood Energy Utility.
