Reduced lung function is found in healthy children after exercise

Researchers observed asthma-like symptoms and abnormal pulmonary function in a study of 56 children with no history of the disease after they engaged in intense exercise. The finding suggests that reduced lung function can occur even in healthy children after short bouts of heavy exercise.
