From-scratch school lunches improve nutrition, reduce costs

Beaufort County Schools nutrition director Gwyn Roberson McBride and her staff went back to recipes from the 1960s and '70s to return the school lunch menu to made-from-scratch meals. The goal is to make the food more nutritious and to reduce costs for the North Carolina school district.
