Healthy lifestyle can lower risk of kidney stones, studies show

Reducing intake of calories and meat, consuming high levels of antioxidants, taking cholesterol-lowering statins, and following other healthy habits that prevent cardiovascular disease and bone problems can also protect against kidney stones, according to studies presented at the American Urological Association's annual meeting.
