Medtronic and Ford develop device for drivers with diabetes

Medtronic and Ford Motor have launched a prototype of a device that can enable patients with diabetes to monitor their blood glucose levels while driving. The system connects Sync, Ford's in-car communications system, to Medtronic's continuous glucose monitor using Bluetooth technology.
