Readers of nutrition labels change focus as they shop

Seventy percent of consumers on a shoppers panel said they read food labels, but they look for different things depending on what they are buying. Fat is the top concern for dairy products; calories and ingredients are top considerations for baked goods; and sugar, calories and ingredients are the main factors when buying beverages.
