Workers' comp legislation clears Oklahoma House panel

The Oklahoma Senate is expected to tackle a bill that would revamp the state's workers' compensation system after the measure cleared the state House Conference Committee on Public Safety, Judiciary and Military Affairs. The bill is aimed at reducing costs and improving efficiency. The measure is the result of a study by a committee formed by Gov. Mary Fallin to address workers' compensation issues.
