Survey: 84% of consumers aware of site tracking

A recent global survey from ad firm McCann found that 84% of consumers are aware that companies target ads to them by tracking the websites they visit. Of the 10,000 respondents, 71% said it is worrisome how much retailers know about their online behavior, but 65% do not mind sharing behavioral data if they gain from it.
