TIA releases summer travel predictions

The Travel Industry Association of America projects high gas prices will hinder summer travel and estimates less than 1% growth this year compared to last year. Although TIA anticipates air travel and hotel demand will increase toward the end of the summer, 10% of travelers say if gas prices hit $3 per gallon, they would seriously consider canceling travel plans.
