Boeing to unveil 787 production line

Boeing today will host the grand opening of its 787 assembly line in Everett, Wash. The plane's major fuselage and wing parts are made from carbon-fiber composite materials in overseas factories. "Basically ... we're snapping it together," said Tom Wroblewski, president of the union representing Boeing production workers. "This is a whole new way of assembling an aircraft."
