Connecticut facing flood threat, Corps reports

A preliminary study by the Army Corps of Engineers warns that the affluent counties of Westchester and Fairfield, Conn., will likely face more flooding similar to the 2007 nor'easter that caused millions of dollars in property damage and forced 100 evacuations. Officials in the town of Greenwich want the Corps to conduct a more detailed feasibility study to see how engineers might divert such disasters in the future.
