Minneapolis airport opens self-selecting security lines

Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport on Friday began testing the TSA's new program that allows travelers to select their security line. Travelers choose between an expert line, a line for casual travelers and a line for families. "Orderly Minnesotans should have no trouble making the right lane choice at MSP, although it's likely that few will want to label themselves "experts.'' We're betting the 'casual' lane will be a popular choice for understated Gophers without children," the Star-Tribune editorial board writes.
