NFIB wants Connecticut governor to veto minimum wage hike

Connecticut business groups are hoping Gov. M. Jodi Rell vetoes an increase in the minimum wage from $7.65 per hour to $8 in 2009 and $8.25 in 2010. "It is absolutely the wrong time to do this because of the economic insecurity small businesses are facing," says Andrew Markowski, NFIB/Connecticut.
