Travel agencies thrive despite economic slowdown

Although the travel agent industry has struggled the past few years, the agents who have managed to adapt and hang on are thriving, even despite the current economic climate. "All we're hearing is recession, recession, recession, but people are traveling," said Larry Austin, chief executive of Austin Travel. "We're very busy. Everybody's ... going on vacations."
