Study finds positive views on health IT among patients

People expect technology to be a key component of care delivery and are open to sacrificing some privacy issues to gain transparency and complete access to their health records, researchers from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center reported. The study, which was funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, could be useful in building a more patient-focused health care system in the U.S., the senior author said.
