Corporate IT purchases fuel HP's earnings for fiscal Q2

Hewlett-Packard reported that sales of information technology products generally bought by companies, such as desktop computers, servers and blades, increased significantly in its fiscal second quarter. Desktop sales, which grew 27%, beat sales of laptops, which posted a 17% increase. Revenue for industry-standard servers rose 54%, while blade servers saw an increase of 45%.
