Eurozone nations might have to yield budget power, IMF chief says

A solution to Europe's sovereign-debt crisis might require individual nations to give up some of their power over spending and borrowing, said Dominique Strauss-Kahn, managing director of the International Monetary Fund. "The idea that you can build a single currency and just let everybody do what they want is wrong," he said. Strauss-Kahn said the eurozone needs "some instrument to make the policies in line."
