IHG program allows members to use points at rival chains

InterContinental Hotels Group has launched a bold new promotion by allowing members of its Priority Club Rewards program to use their points at competitor hotels. IHG says the program, called Hotels Anywhere, is designed to allow members to use their points in markets where there are no IHG hotels such as Hawaii. But members can also take advantage of the program even in markets where there are IHG hotels.
