National radio spots continue growth trend

National radio ads are on track to increase 17% in the second quarter, which would mark the second consecutive growth period for the segment, according to Katz Media Group. Telecom ads, which increased 52.5%, compared with last year, led the way, followed by professional services, which were up by 38.7%; consumer products, 33.6%; retail, 31.2%; and automotive, 29.9%.
