Officials break ground on $107M mixed-use development in D.C.

Officials on Tuesday broke ground on an 8.5-acre mixed-use project alongside a Metro station in Washington, D.C. The $107 million Rhode Island Station project includes 274 residential units, 70,000 square feet of retail, a community center and parking garages. The development is being funded in part by the Department of Housing and Urban Development and a division of the Treasury Department.
