Pros worry over market for new pilots

A panel of aviation experts appeared before the National Transportation Safety Board on Tuesday to express concerns over a potential shortage of pilots in the coming years. The group noted that fewer young people are expressing interest in the field, even as airlines prepare to hire more than 42,000 new pilots by 2020. The discussions were part of a three-day NTSB forum on aviation professionalism this week in Washington, D.C.
