Sales of Islamic bonds post 24% increase

Yields on Islamic bonds are falling, making sukuk the strongest performing class of emerging-market debt. Sukuk offerings are up 24% this year, marking the biggest increase in three years. The spread between three-month London Interbank Offered Rate and the average Islamic bond yield has narrowed by 301 basis points in the past year.
