VA plans kiosk-based patient self-assessment system

The Veterans Affairs department is seeking vendors to design software for a clinical kiosk system designed to enable patients to self-assess their mental health conditions. Data from the system would be transformed into a standard format and transmitted to the VA's VistA EMR system to be used as chart notes for clinicians. The VA plans to initially roll out the system at four of its mental health clinics.
