FAA: More women pilots in past decade

The number of women pilots has increased by 18.6% since 2000, statistics from the Federal Aviation Administration show. The number of women with Airline Transport Pilot certificates also jumped 35% in the same period. More women also entered aviation-related fields such as ground instruction and flight instruction.
