Air shows are not taking off due to federal budget cuts

Federal budget cuts are affecting the air show market, as cancellations have resulted in lost income for vendors, performers and others who depend on the events. The International Council of Air Shows says the events add about $1.5 billion into the economy and attract three times as many visitors as NASCAR events.
