Chicago Teachers Union retains Lewis as president

The Chicago Teachers Union has re-elected Karen Lewis to her second three-year term, according to unofficial results. Lewis' tenure as head of the union has included a fight against plans to close 54 schools that led to a strike last year and two federal lawsuits filed last week.
