Collaborative effort builds Tenn.'s $585M Music City Center

Building the $585 million Music City Center in Nashville, Tenn., took a concerted effort of more than 7,300 workers and 400 contractors. Clark Construction Group, Harmony Construction Group and Bell & Associates Construction were responsible for overseeing the project, safety efforts and local recruiting -- including finding minority- and women-owned small businesses to take part. Work started in 2010, and the center is expected to open this year.
