Fertilize now for healthy grass in summer

It's possible to achieve a healthy summer lawn, even after heat-wave damage, by testing the soil and applying the right type of fertilizer in spring, according to Roger Williams, an educator at the Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service. "These yards are going to need the right kind and right amount of fertilizer every three weeks to a month to get them going," he said.
