Mass. social studies students present their international research projects

Students from Littleton Middle School in Massachusetts recently presented their results of two-month research projects about other countries. Students -- many in appropriate costume -- shared facts, flags, food and other distinguishing details as part of the presentations, recently revealed to family members and school visitors. The Country Expo is an annual event for sixth-graders and includes math and science components -- along with history, geography and language arts, said Lilly Pfannebecker, a sixth-grade social studies teacher and event organizer.
