Workers' comp costs may rise in light of Fla. court ruling, expert says

A Florida court's decision to overturn the state's limit on temporary total disability benefits could increase workers' compensation costs by $65 million annually, according to insurer groups and employers who have been granted a rehearing of the case. The case might be used by advocates and claimant attorneys to argue against other states' time limits on such benefits, said PCI's Trey Gillespie.
