Google said to be eyeing video platform Twitch

Google is reportedly in the early stages of acquisition talks with video-streaming service Twitch, sources say. Twitch is similar to Google-owned YouTube and is popular among gamers. Twitch had more than 45 million unique monthly visitors in February and accounted for 44% of live-streaming traffic volume in the U.S. during the week of April 7, beating out YouTube's Live service.
