How TalkingRain grew the Sparkling ICE brand exponentially

TalkingRain's Sparkling Ice reported sales of $337 million for the year ended April 2014, up from $2.7 million in 2009, according to IRI. To achieve the growth, Sparking ICE, a line of zero-calorie carbonated waters that are available in 17 flavors, hit shelves just as consumers were changing their drinking habits. Kevin Klock was promoted to CEO in 2010, and he took a mishmash of the company's water brands and focused on Sparkling ICE, ramping up production and redesigning the packaging and flavor options. The company now operates six plants in North America and is nationally distributed by Anheuser-Busch, Miller Coors and independents.
