Kansas Supreme Court orders schools to stay open

Yesterday, the Kansas Supreme Court blocked Judge Terry Bullock's recent order to close schools after June 30 if constitutional flaws he had cited in the state's funding system were not corrected by that time. State and education officials had sought the stay to prevent teachers from going unpaid and district defaults on hundreds of million of dollars in bonds.
