Florida school leaders call for independent test audit

Florida educators are increasingly calling for an independent review of Florida's standardized test after third-grade reading scores across the state showed the first decline in the test's history after record improvements in 2006. If the scores stand, thousands of Florida third-graders scoring at the lowest reading level could be held back; school grades, reward money and teachers' bonuses will all drop as well.
