FAA continues to rely on short-term funding

The FAA will continue to run on a budget that is renewed every few months by Congress because the Senate last month refused to vote on a bill to reauthorize the FAA. This leaves the FAA without the ability to fund an upgraded air traffic control system or to award major contracts.
