Colorado's first highway project funded by stimulus starts

Construction started this week on Colorado's first state highway project funded by federal stimulus dollars. The state, which will use asphalt to resurface a roadway in Denver, will receive $1.2 million in stimulus funds for the project. So far, state transportation officials have committed to 32 projects that will receive stimulus funds.
