Doors open at Kitchens of Sara Lee

Sara Lee has opened the Kitchens of Sara Lee, an innovation center, in Illinois. "We want to bring value added to the consumer. That's what this R&D innovation center is about," Chairwoman and CEO Brenda Barnes said. "We are fully equipped to turn consumer insights into products that differentiate us in the marketplace."
