Massachusetts pilot aims for one-day barnstorming record

Airport manager Rich MacIsaac is aiming for the aviation record books with his plan to take off and land at all 39 public-use airports in the state of Massachusetts within a single day. "I am hoping this will bring awareness to general aviation in Massachusetts," says MacIsaac, who manages the airport in Northampton, Mass. "There are so many great little airports in the state and lots of places to see." MacIsaac plans to pilot a Flight Design Light Sport CT, and he says light sport aircraft are a great way to get licensed. "Whether you are completely new to aviation or have flown aircraft before, a Sport Pilot License may be for you," he says.
