Short-term behavior therapy, medication help insomniacs

A short stint of sleep medication combined with behavioral changes is the best way to end insomnia, according to a Canadian study. Researchers said their study of 160 adults found therapy to re-teach good sleep habits plus medications such as Ambien, Lunesta or Sonata helped most patient with persistent insomnia.
