Fashion Valley to update its look with $15M renovation

Fashion Valley, a luxury retail center in San Diego County, is about to undergo a $15 million renovation. Changes will include a new color scheme, new lighting, landscaping and additional lounge areas. It is a common strategy for retail centers, says Jesse Tron, a spokesman for the International Council of Shopping Centers. Every 10 to 12 years, centers update the facilities to make them more inviting to shoppers.
