Mississippi casino revenue drops slightly for April

Mississippi's state-licensed casinos reported a 2.9% revenue decline for April on a year-over-year basis, according to state officials. Gamblers lost $199.1 million in April, compared with $205.1 million in April 2009. Mississippi is home to 19 casinos on the Mississippi River, as well as 11 casinos on the Gulf Coast.
